The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, has been canceled for the remainder of the weekend due to severe weather concerns. The cancellation was confirmed on Friday, June 13, following Thursday’s performance by Luke Combs, Dom Dolla, and other musicians. Originally scheduled for Sunday, the festival was canceled due to the National Weather Service’s warning of severe and continuous rainfall.

Official Cancellation Announcement

The event had earlier in the day issued an evacuation order and a series of weather delays before announcing the news in an Instagram post on Friday.

Initial Evacuation & Weather Delays

With just one of the four headliners, Luke Combs, performing before the festival was postponed, Thursday was the first official day of the event, which was scheduled to take place at the Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee, and run through Sunday.

Reason for Cancellation

“Today, the National Weather Service provided us with an updated forecast with significant and steady precipitation that will produce deteriorating camping and egress conditions in the coming days,” Bonnaroo wrote in their post. “We are beyond gutted, but we must make the safest decision and cancel the remainder of Bonnaroo.”

Refund Policy

Additionally, Bonnaroo announced that all one-day entrance tickets bought through Front Gate Tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be refunded; however, only 75% of those who bought four-day admission tickets and camping through the ticketing agency will get their money back.

List of Performers Cancelled

Combs was supposed to be the main act at Bonnaroo, but appearances by Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hozier have been canceled. Vampire Weekend, GloRilla, Tyla, Raye, Avril Lavigne, Queens of the Stone Age, John Summit, Justice, Dom Dolla, Glass Animals, and The Red Clay Strays were among the other artists scheduled to perform.
