What happens in the Brick trailer?

In the video, Schweighöfer and Fee are shown as a couple on the verge of splitting up. They abruptly decide to end their separation after realizing that a mysterious brick wall has appeared in front of their windows and entrance. It soon became apparent to them that all of the tenants in their apartment complex were now confined.
