Escape rooms provide that heart-pounding rush, with the exception of the 2017 horror-thriller Escape Room, where the stakes are lethal. An enjoyable task soon transforms into a horrifying survival game where every puzzle conceals evil secrets and potentially fatal outcomes.

OTT Release date and where to watch

Beginning June 27, 2025, Lionsgate Play and OTTplay Premium will stream the English thriller Escape Room. The Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions of the film are available for Indian viewers in addition to the English original.

Storyline

Six companions are introduced at the beginning of Escape Room, who have made the decision to live exciting and adventurous lives. They registered for an escape room, a game in which you are imprisoned in a room and must solve puzzles to locate clues and escape before the allotted time has passed. At first, they believed it would be a useful method of assessing their IQ.

At the beginning of the game, everything appeared to be normal. They are collaborating to solve the challenges, laughing, and enjoying themselves. Then, however, an uncanny oddity occurs. The game began to seem different; it was no longer like a typical escape room. It gets a little scary and much more lethal. The difficulties become really challenging and maybe a little daunting. They feel as though the game is deceiving them, and now the roles are reversed.
