Los Angeles entrepreneur and artist Lava Bentley has released a music video for his most recent single ‘2mar’, directed by Southside Bee. The video opens up with model Sophie Sophia portraying the video vixen and rocking Bentley’s fashion brand, Lava Street Wear. This music video shows contrasting clips of Bentley locked-up in jail, him enjoying freedom with L.A’s skyline behind him along with clips of self reflection with his girl.

The song depicts the hustle of always having another day, easily understood in the chorus and song’s title ‘2mar’… reassuring that it doesn’t matter what happens today when you know there’s a tomorrow. A hustler’s mentality of forward moving, not being stuck in the present while knowing there’s a future. One of my favorite lines from the song  is “I ain’t trippin on that cake, you can pay me 2mar”, this sums up  the song’s maturity level of not stressing today when you have 2mar. A simple line that shows  patience within the process of getting to the money.

Lava Bentley has also released another music video in the last  week, “BackDoor” which is available to watch on youtube and on all streaming platforms for you to enjoy. With only four singles released, Lava Bentley has amassed over 10,000 monthly listeners to his Spotify with his top song being “Check the Porch” that is on track to reach over 50,000 streams!

While his musical brand is growing, it’s not to take light away from the overall Lava brand that includes the streetwear and exotic weed that has caught the eyes and attention of entertainers such as NLE Choppa, Amber Rose and Snoop Dogg.
