Ready or Not: Here I Come, the official sequel to Searchlight Pictures’ 2019 horror-comedy Ready or Not, has been revealed. On April 10, 2026, the movie is scheduled to open in theaters.
With returning star Samara Weaving and intriguing new cast members Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood, the sequel promises a new and exciting chapter in the darkly humorous series.

April 10, 2026, will see the release of “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come,” the follow-up to Searchlight’s 2019 horror smash “Ready or Not.”

The producers of Ready or Not: Here I Come are William Sherak, Bradley J. Fischer, James Vanderbilt, and Tripp Vinson. Chad Villella, Tara Farney, Greg Denny, Paul Neinstein, Busick, Murphy, and Weaving are executive producers. Cornelia Burleigh and Richard Ruiz are in charge of the Searchlight project.

Sound mixer Thomas Hayek (“Thanksgiving,” “The Boys”), hair department head Ryan Reed (“It Chapter Two”), and editor Jay Prychidny (“Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice”) are among the new cast members.
Storyline
Weaving plays a young bride in “Ready or Not” who inadvertently marries into a family of extremely affluent devil worshippers who want to murder her before dawn in a deadly game of hide-and-seek. Despite only costing $6 million to produce, the film—which starred Adam Brody, Andie MacDowell, and Henry Czerny—made $28 million domestically, making it Searchlight’s biggest release of 2019.
