‘Shelby Oaks’ Horror Movie Sets October Premiere Date

Shelby Oaks, the first horror movie directed by YouTube reviewer Chris Stuckmann, has been acquired by NEON. Additionally, Derek Mears, a creature actor best known for playing Jason Voorhees in the 2009 Friday the 13th revival, plays an unidentified and enigmatic role in the ensemble.

The movie directed by Chris Stuckmann will be available in theaters on October 3, 2025.

Mike Flanagan, the horror mastermind behind Doctor Sleep and “The Fall of the House of Usher,” recently joined the upcoming Shelby Oaks as an executive producer. As producers, Flanagan, Intrepid Pictures’ Trevor Macy, and Melinda Nishioka joined the group.

What Is About Chris Stuckmann?

Shelby Oaks is a horror film about missing paranormal investigators (the paranormal paranoids), the sinister legacy they unearthed, and the far-reaching consequences of their investigation. Twelve years later, Mia searches for her sister Riley, the lead paranormal investigator. It was shot as a traditional feature with some found footage elements.
