Storyline

The original Silent Night, Deadly Night film was one of the most contentious films of 1984 when it was released. Parents urged in a series of letters that the movie be taken out of theaters. The movie tells the tale of a young man who, after being released from an orphanage, embarks on a homicidal rampage while disguised as Santa.

The third entry in the game-to-screen horror film series, Return to Silent Hill, comes 20 years after the first movie, Silent Hill, was initially shown in theaters. Directed by Christophe Gans and starring Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean, Silent Hill was the biggest hit at the box office on its first weekend in 2006. In 2012, Kit Harington and Adelaide Clemens starred in M.J. Bassett’s Silent Hill: Revelation.

It centers on James (Irvine), a guy whose relationship with Mary (Anderson), the love of his life, ends, leaving him broken. When he returns to Silent Hill after receiving an enigmatic letter from her, he discovers that the village has been altered by an unidentified evil. During his frantic quest for Mary, James comes across terrible animals and starts to solve the town’s riddle.

The film is financed by Ashland Hill Media Finance and Davis Films, and it was produced by David Wulf, Molly Hassell of Hassell Free Productions, and Victor Hadida of Davis Films.
