‘The Legend of Zelda’ Live-Action Film Rescheduled for May 2027 Release

The movie, which comes from Nintendo and Arad Productions, is being distributed by Sony. Alongside Arad, Shigeru Miyamoto, a fellow Shigeru and representative director for Nintendo, produced the film.

Sony has reportedly moved the release date of their highly anticipated live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda from March 26, 2027 to May 7, 2027 due to production problems.

The live-action adaptation of Nintendo’s “The Legend of Zelda” game is directed by Wes Ball and produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad. Ball helmed last summer’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” and the Maze Runner trilogy. The story and cast have not yet been revealed.
