Storyline
The Sinclairs, a wealthy family, are the focus of We Were Liars. They take a vacation on their private island, but things take a turn for the worst once a murder occurs. According to the story, one summer Cadence has a brain injury that leaves him unable to remember what happened over that period. With the help of her cousins and a family friend known as the Liars, she returns to the island two years later in an effort to piece together what happened that summer. The series reveals what occurs next.
