Brad Ingelsby is the creator of the upcoming crime thriller miniseries “Task,” which stars Tom Pelphrey and Mark Ruffalo. The series, which will debut on HBO and be accessible in India on JioHotstar from September 8, 2025, examines issues of forgiveness, class, and the delicate balance between justice and mercy.

The seven-episode series takes place along Philadelphia’s Main Line. It centers on an FBI task force looking into a string of violent break-ins at homes. Storyline

The series’ plot centers on FBI agent Tom Brandis (Mark Ruffalo), who chooses to use a special squad to look into a violent house invasion that occurred in Philadelphia. What occurs when Brandis discovers that Robbie, a seemingly typical family man who is stealing to support his kids, is the mastermind? The series reveals what occurs next.
