The spy thriller “The Amateur,” produced by 20th Century Studios, will soon be available on Hulu following a triumphant theatrical run. The film, which stars Laurence Fishburne and Rami Malek, centers on a talented CIA decoder who goes rogue to exact revenge for the loss of his wife in a terrorist assault in London. The action-packed thriller, which has an 88% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes, follows a guy who uses his wits as his most lethal weapon in his pursuit of justice.

Hulu will begin offering The Amateur for streaming on July 17. The film is currently available for purchase on Blu-ray and 4K UHD.

Based on Robert Littell’s 1981 novel, the film was directed by James Hawes from a screenplay by Ken Nolan and Gary Spinelli. Malek led the cast and was a producer, working with Joel B. Michaels, JJ Hook, Dan Wilson, and Hutch Parker.
