The Running Man’s original release date has been shifted by one week, said to a release from Paramount Pictures.
Movie Release Date
On November 7, 2025, The Running Man will be released in theaters. Initially, the movie was supposed to premiere on November 21st, a few weeks later.
Edgar Wright’s film The Running Man is scheduled to hit theaters in November. It is the second adaptation of King’s book, which was first released in 1981, and stars Glen Powell. The 2025 adaptation of the narrative appears to be somewhat different from the 1987 original film, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
About The Running Man
The Runners “must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward,” according to the official summary of the movie. The show’s charming but cruel producer, Dan Killian, persuades working-class Ben Richards (Powell), who is desperate to rescue his ailing daughter, to enter the game as a last resort. However, Ben becomes an unexpected fan favorite and a threat to the system as a whole because of his resistance, instincts, and grit. The danger is increasing along with the ratings, and Ben has to outsmart not only the Hunters but also a country that is dependent on watching him fail.
“The Running Man” also stars Josh Brolin (“No Country for Old Men”) as show producer Dan Killian, Lee Pace (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) as hunter Evan McCone, Michael Cera as Bradley, a rebel who assists Ben, Colman Domingo (“Sing Sing”) as game show host Bobby Thompson, and Katy O’Brian (“Love Lies Bleeding”) as a contestant. Wright and Michael Bacall co-wrote the script.
