A Look At Personal Injury Attorney Robert Simon and His Firm Justice HQ

Robert Simon is a personal injury attorney who hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Besides, being a talented lawyer, he’s also a passionate technology geek. His vision to integrate technology into the field of law became a reality in the form of a technology-driven online attorney membership platform called Justice HQ. Today, he is sharing how he became a personal injury lawyer and founded Justice HQ.

Robert’s wife has an interest in entrepreneurship. Once she presented an idea about starting a co-working place for talented female entrepreneurs. After a bit of research, the couple found that real estate was expensive for budding entrepreneurs. The same goes for lawyers who have just graduated from law school and have intentions to go out on their own. That is how Robert saw things working towards Justice HQ.

Soon, they started receiving resumes from lawyers who were interested in working with them. They also started to get 50 cases every week but were finding it difficult to take them all up as most of them were out of their field of expertise. To provide a solution, the head of marketing, Teresa Diep, proposed an idea to Robert where they would start a WeWork place for lawyers and get them under a common roof. The idea was to develop a platform where all their lawyers could communicate and work together. It would then become easy to award the cases to the best possible lawyer. Though it took some time to get the right tech and build the platform, Justice HQ became a reality.

Robert’s entry into the world of law occurred when he was living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When he was 12 years old, a car accident paralyzed his uncle. It caused him to think about fighting for people who have no voices of their own. He saw the pain that his uncle suffered through and how people were taking it for granted. That’s when he decided to become a personal injury lawyer in the future. Today, he has a family of his own – a wife and two daughters. He currently lives in California. He has a twin brother, Brad Simon, with whom he founded Simon Law Group. His brother develops systems and manages the practice while he does trials. Both of them have majored in Criminal Justice from the George Washington University. Robert’s entire family including his dad, stepmom, sisters, and mom is engaged in the law business. Together they are helping attorneys to have a better work-life balance.
