“Until Dawn” is a chilling horror movie that is based on the critically acclaimed 2015 PlayStation game. The film was first released in theaters on April 25, 2025, and it will now debut on Netflix in July of the same year, first just in the United States, with additional territories to follow.
‘Until Dawn’ Movie Overview
In the movie, Clover and her pals make a comeback to a secluded mountain valley precisely a year after Clover’s sister vanished. As they get stuck in a time loop and repeatedly relive the same terrifying night, their quest for answers swiftly devolves into a nightmare. Their only chance is to live until daybreak since they are being stalked by masked killers and time is continually resetting.

The film, which was written and directed by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman and starred Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Belmont Cameli, Maia Mitchell, and Peter Stormare, was directed by David F. Sandberg.
Until Dawn’: Netflix U.S. Release Date Revealed
The film would debut on PVOD in July and then, on or around August 23, 2025, on Netflix in the United States.
Until Dawn will be available in other regions later this year besides Netflix US. The film will be available on Netflix in India and the US at about the same time (late August). Soon after, it will be available for streaming in places like Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and South Africa.
In 2026, the film will be released in other areas, including several European nations like Germany and the Netherlands. Other providers have the first window rights for those in the UK and Canada, but based on our observations, Netflix has the second window rights, thus the movie will be available on Netflix there sometime in early to mid-2027.
