Steven DeGennaro, the filmmaker of Found Footage 3D, helms the contained horror movie Remote, starring the actor from Friday Night Lights and John Wick. Jules, who has spent the last seven months living alone in a 30-foot trailer, will receive payment from Palicki.

DeGennaro will produce through his studio, The Ubiquitous Studio 42, and wrote the script. Charles Mulford of Impeccible Pictures, Jessica Perrin, and Cameron Burns, Ashleigh Snead, and Aaron B. Koontz of Paper Street Pictures serve as producers. Josh Raby and Scott Weinberg are co-producers.

Remote is currently in post-production after wrapping up filming. Jessica Perrin, Josh Cruddas, Chris Johnson, and Roger Guenveur Smith are also on the cast. After Found Footage 3D, which debuted at horror streamer Shudder and went on to tour at festivals in 2016, this is DeGennaro’s second movie.

Palicki, who has a varied career that includes Agents of Shield and G.I. Joe: Retaliation, first gained notoriety on the iconic football drama Friday Night Lights in the 2000s.
