Kelly Clarkson’s days as Simon Cowell’s America’s Got Talent seat filler are finished.

NBC reported Monday that Saturday Night Live vet Kenan Thompson will step in for the harmed Cowell in the current week’s live episodes (airing Tuesday and Wednesday).

Thompson succeeds Clarkson, who involved Cowell’s seat a week ago. Thompson will fill in as visitor judge inverse full-time Season 15 appointed authorities Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.

Notwithstanding his long-running (and presently Emmy nominated) stretch on SNL, Thompson is set to play a bereft morning show have in the forthcoming single-camera NBC parody Kenan.
