Miley Cyrus’ new song “Midnight Sky” has topped the current week’s new music survey.

Music fans voted in a survey distributed Friday (Aug. 14) on Billboard, picking the 27-year-old pop star’s first single from her anticipated collection, She Is Miley Cyrus, as their preferred new music release from the previous week.

“Midnight Sky,” which shows up behind the singer’s separation with Cody Simpson, acquired 47% of the vote this week, destroying new music by Dua Lipa, SuperM, Drake including Lil Durk, and Kane Brown, among others.

“It’s been a long night and the mirror is tellin’ me to go home/ But it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good on my own/ Nine years went by with my hands tied up in your ropes/ Forever and ever, no more,” she sings in the engaging new track, which dropped on Friday (Aug. 14).

Cyrus still can’t seem to report a delivery date for She Is Miley Cyrus, however the new collection will follow her 2019 EP, She Is Coming, which included lead single “Mother’s Daughter.”

Coming in runner up on the current week’s survey with 25% of the vote was a remix of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” including Madonna and Missy Elliott.

The going with video discovers Lipa snuggling up with her boyfriend Anwar Hadid in powerful moonlight.

Setting third on the current week’s survey was the “other” classification, which represented almost 14% of the vote, trailed by SuperM’s “100” in fourth with 5%.
