Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts have tied the knot in marriage.

Watts shared a photo on her verified Instagram page on Saturday that showed her and the actor from “The Morning Show” standing on the steps of what appeared to be a Manhattan courthouse to confirm the news.

Along with a picture of the newlyweds standing side by side with beaming smiles, the caption read, “Hitched.”

Crudup can be seen in a navy blue suit while Watts can be seen holding a bouquet of flowers in a white Oscar de la Renta gown.

Watts shared a photo of herself sitting next to Crudup with the caption “hubby” and a group photo with actor Mark Ruffalo, his wife Sunny Coigney, and two more friends on her Instagram story.

The actor from “King Kong” is said to have started dating Crudup in 2017 while they were playing husband and wife on the Netflix drama series “Gypsy.”

When they posed together on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February 2022, it was their first public appearance as a married couple.

Before announcing their split in 2016, Watts was previously married to actor Liev Schreiber for 11 years. Schreiber and Watts share two children. Crudup once had a relationship with Mary-Louise Parker, an actor from “Weeds,” with whom he has a son.

Several well-known friends of Watts, including Andy Cohen, who stated that he feels “partially responsible for this,” left messages of congratulations in the comments section of their wedding photo from Saturday.

“Yes you can take a decent to large portion of the credit,” Watts replied.

Jennifer Coolidge, Katie Holmes and Octavia Spencer, among others, additionally posted comments complimenting the newlyweds.
