This October marks the release of The Partisan, a WWII spy thriller starring Morgane Polanski and Malcolm McDowell. Motivated by the actual spy Krystyna Skarbek, the movie will be distributed worldwide by a number of distributors.

The Partisan, starring Malcolm McDowell and directed by James Marquand, will open in theaters this autumn.

Team Production

Brainstorm Media, in collaboration with High Fliers Films in Britain, and Sisyphus, Nostromo Films, have confirmed that the spy thriller will have its premiere in October. The film will be released in Poland by Media Squad Distribution and Monolith Films.

Lead & Plot Overview

The Partisan brings together the producing team of Matt Whyte, Krystian Kozlowski, and Robert Chadaj, who have worked on Hurricane (2018). Polish agent Krystyna Skarbek, who serves with the British Special Operations Executive, is portrayed by Morgane Polanski (Vikings).

Supporting Cast

The main character of the film was a real-life agent who is frequently cited as the model for Ian Fleming’s Vesper Lynd. Skarbek, one of Britain’s top female spies, whose valor influenced the outcome of World War II, is the subject of The Partisan.

Worldwide Sales

On Friday, THR received an exclusive still from the movie that has actor McDowell from A Clockwork Orange in the role. Agata Kulesza (Cold War), Piotr Adamczyk (Hawkeye), and Ingvar Sigurdsson (Everest) all feature.

Capture is in charge of the Partisan’s global sales and has signed new agreements with Germany (Lighthouse), ANZ (Eagle), Eastern Europe (daro excluded), Spain (Divisa Red), the Middle East (Phoenicia), Portugal (Nos Lusomundo), Greece (Spentzos), South Korea (Poongkyung Sori), and airlines (Ricochet).
