Fahadh Faasil’s Action-Comedy Film “Aavesham” Now Available on OTT Platforms

Aavesham, a highly anticipated Malayalam film of 2024, debuted in theaters on April 11 and has since made its way to digital distribution in less than a month. Amazon Prime users can now watch the entertaining film starring Fahadh Faasil. There are English subtitles available only in Malayalam.

Use Amazon Prime to Stream Aavesham

Following its theatrical release, Aavesham’s post-theatrical OTT streaming rights were acquired by Amazon Prime Video, the leading streaming service. The OTT rights to the Jithu Madhavan-directed movie are reportedly worth a whopping amount to the platform.

Despite the earlier expectation that the action-comedy would be out by the end of May, both the actor’s fans and those who missed the film in theaters were excited to hear that it would soon be accessible on digital platforms. Nevertheless, no OTT platform has yet to offer any of the other Vishu releases, including Varshangalkku Shesham by Vineeth Sreenivasan and Jai Ganesh by Unni Mukundan. Not even Prithviraj Sukumaran’s March release, Aadujeevitham, has made an appearance on digital platforms.

Fantastic Theater Reception for Aavesham

The film made its theatrical debut on April 11 with the highest opening weekend gross of all the Vishu releases thanks to a remarkable surge in attendance. In merely three weeks following its theatrical release, the movie broke into the Rs 100 crore club. This year’s seventh Malayalam movie to break the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office is the action-comedy. Additionally, it is the highest-grossing solo picture in Fahadh Faasil’s history.

The film revolves around three young boys who, in their quest for an alliance against their college bullies, fall into the hands of a well-known mobster. Fahadh Faasil’s arrival revitalizes Aavesham and heightens the film’s suspenseful and humorous elements. The remaining actors in the film are Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Midhutty, Pranav Raj, Mithun Jai Shankar, Neeraja Rajendran, and Roshan Shanavas.
