Storyline
The son of wealthy music producer David King is kidnapped and forced to pay a hefty ransom in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest. When the kidnapper unintentionally takes King’s chauffeur’s son instead, the plan falls apart, forcing King to choose between saving his associate’s son’s life and preserving his wealth for his own. Through this moral conundrum, the film explores wealth, entitlement, and ethical responsibility.
