The Family Star: Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda’s Starrer Receives TV Premiere

Vijay Deverakonda’s most recent film, “The Family Star,” is getting another shot to win hearts on the small screen despite a mixed box office run. This Sunday, June 16th, at 6 PM, Star Maa TV will debut the family drama, which was directed by Parasuram.

“The Family Star” found a more accepting audience on the over-the-top (OTT) platform Amazon Prime Video, in contrast to the lackluster reception the film received upon its April theatrical premiere. For two weeks, the movie was the biggest trend, which rekindled curiosity about the narrative.

The Family Star, a Dil Raju-produced film under Sri Venkateswara Creations, follows the lives of Govardhan (Deverakonda), a young man who is fervently committed to his family.
