Barry Kibwika is known for his astute business sense and passion for creative works.

It is quite easy to say today that anyone can come ahead and achieve their desired success. But let’s be honest here, is it really easy and a cakewalk for people to build their careers in their respective industries? Though a lot of people and experts of the entrepreneurial world in the past have spoken about this, they also mention about the paths individuals may have to tread on to reach their definition of success. However, there are a few self-motivated individuals who have still made umpteen numbers of efforts to reach where they always aspired to be. Topping the list of such young entrepreneurs and creative professionals is Barry Kibwika, also known as Harnun.

If fashion has a name today, it won’t be wrong to say that it is Harnun. Coming from Kampala, Uganda, and getting raised in Florida, the US, Harnun saw how the world of fashion evolved from the places he grew up in Africa and America. This understanding and the evolution he saw in fashion only went ahead in motivating him to be a part of the industry and bring his fashion visions into fruition. If “Sabaa” and “The 47th Dynasty” are famous today as fashion brands, the credit must definitely go to the man behind them, Harnun.

Giving a decade and a half in the industry, Harnun, with his brands, have shown what excellence in fashion looks like, where he tries to mix his modern-day visions to the ideas that represent the past and the ancestral designs, which has also acted as the USP of both his brands. With Sabaa, he has collaborated with Angela Simmons in his early days of designing. It was the first brand she had on her e-commerce site and even the fashion show when she first launched.

Harnun reveals that he finds great inspiration in a few celebrities as well, and his favourite ones are Kanye West, Lebron James, and Chris Brown. Barry Kibwika, aka Harnun, has, however, attained name beyond the fashion space and has thrived even as an author to the 47th Dynasty Kemetic Spiritual books collection and his recently released book “Return back to self love.”
