Honda is reviewing almost 725,000 SUVs and pickup trucks in light of the fact that the hoods can open while the vehicles are moving.

The review covers specific 2019 Passports, 2016 through 2019 Pilots and 2017 through 2020 Ridgeline pickups.

Honda says in archives posted Friday by U.S. wellbeing controllers that the hood lock striker can become harmed and separate from the hood.

Sellers will either fix the striker or supplant the hood if important at no expense for proprietors. Honda will tell proprietors by letter beginning Jan. 17.

The overall all out is 788,931, with just shy of 725,000 in the U.S.
