Prabhas has the most officially announced films committed of any tier-one hero. He has been working consecutively for the past few years, but his call sheet is currently blocked. He released two albums last year, Salaar and Aadipurush; this year, The Raja Saab, Kalki, and Salaar 2 are scheduled for release. In addition, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit is on the schedule.

However, there is one thing in common with all of these films: postponement. The issue with such a restricted schedule is that, unless everything is meticulously planned and future possibilities are also considered, the films that are heavily budgeted and heavily visual effects-heavy will take longer than anticipated to complete.

As of the announcement date, not a single Prabhas film has been released. Adipurush and Salaar have both recently pushed back their release windows. The Sankranti release of Kalki has been rescheduled for May 9th. The current talk in the industry is that this movie will be rescheduled.

The group hopes for a September release. These days, all major movies, particularly those involving India, are delayed. Prabhas’s films are all pan-Indian productions, so there have been constant delays in their releases. However, Prabhas’s greatest quality is that he is constantly filming, which means that at least one movie will be released.

Two movies were released the previous year. Following Kalki’s release, he is currently working on several projects. The distribution schedule for these high-profile films—Raja Saab, Spirit, the Kalki sequel, and Hanu Raghavapudi’s film—needs to be determined.
