Splitsville Movie Release Date

On August 22, Splitsville will be released in a limited number of theaters; on September 5, it will be released more widely.

Storyline

Michael Angelo Covino and co-writer Kyle Marvin’s open-marriage comedy revolves around Carey (Kyle Marvin) and Ashley (Adria Arjona), a couple who, after a year of marriage, find themselves at a crossroads. Carey turns to his two friends Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Covino) for guidance when Ashley requests a divorce. He is startled since he has discovered the key to their marriage’s success. Paul and Julie have an open relationship. After Carey has an affair with Julie and they both tell their partners, he causes havoc in his marriage. Variety claims that as both relationships start to fall apart, couples are forced to deal with a potentially disastrous head-on collision.
