According to Arias, it is essential to elevate some brand marketing to expand business during such crucial times.

The world is facing some real tough times, but this doesn’t mean that businesses and marketers must lose hope and do nothing. The kind of precautions that people all over the world have taken to fight the pandemic has made them come closer to their families and at the same time also spend most of their time online for anything whether shopping for groceries, using more social media, playing tech games, etc. This, in many ways, has also risen the demands of e-commerce to newer levels. And, this has made many behavioural changes in consumers. According to social media influencer and marketer Jose Arias from Bronx, New York, it is imperative for brands and marketers to take certain actions that will help them grow their customer base, lessen risks and also take care of their customers.

Arias was born on October 26, 1994, and grew up in Dallas, Texas. Being inclined towards the digital world since the beginning, his career started at just 16 years of age with social advertising. This made him travel to many parts of the world and gain more experience. He is also a creator on Instagram who has created meme accounts like @dawg and @investments. Jose Arias owns a media company that manages OnlyFans models, meme pages, influencers and international models.

Arias shares a few actions that brands and marketers must take to move forward in growing their customer base.

  • Show empathy: At such trying times, it is essential for brands to have empathy towards people and have a brand voice that is delicate, rather than commercially exploitative, says Arias. Make the brand message such that it shows compassion and not just pushes the idea into the customer’s mind.
  • Modify brand messages: Arias suggests that brands must use their brand messages differently for such times, in a way that on one side it talks about its main brand message, and on the other hand, it also talks about people’s safety. This way, both the things are taken care of, brand awareness and safety of people.
  • Get involved in philanthropy work: Good brands are those who at the time of crisis be of help to others in need. Hence, Arias recommends that brands must get involved in some philanthropy work to help people by donating the proceeds in NGOs or other humble organizations. This way, they are imprinting the brand name in people’s minds through their feel-good content that promotes positive messaging.

There are other things as well that Arias suggests like brands must track human behavioural trends, measure their sentiments to better adapt brand messaging. He also suggests adopting newer ways of working on the brand to deliver and reach people better. Adopting such strategies himself, Arias has grown as a social media marketer and influencer, where he has gained many more clients who have been benefited through Arias outstanding and smart marketing strategies.
